PT.Sendok Bali, the Black Forest-born Chef Andreas Menzel would never in
a hundred years have called himself a dreamer. But when he laid eyes on
the magical island of Bali for the first time, he began actually to dream
about a lifelong holiday in the tropics.
And because he did not merely dream of it, but worked hard for several
years, his dream finally became reality: The Sendok Restaurant Group was
born. And because a man also needs love and warmth in his personal life,
he married Luhde, a charming temple dancer. Nowadays Andreas and Luhde are
proud parents of two adorable kids Kevin and Sarah who make their happiness
complete.
Following my training as chef in Germany, Grenzach - Wyhlen in the Gasthot
zum Ziel after experiencing various kinds of the cooking arts in several
countries such as, the Schweizer Hof in Basel, the Park Hotel in St. Moritz,
Swizerland, The Hilton in London and Bristol, England, Mallards Hotel in
South Africa and the Park Royal in Sydney Australia - Andreas takes great
pleasure today in creating his very own menus to pamper his ever returning
guests from all over the world.
